My favorite season is coming with all its glory! Fall! I think it is the best time to have a dark, moody, mysterious and glamorous wedding. Even if you are not fan of Halloween themed weddings, dark colored themes don't have to be spooky at all. They can be elegant, chic and edgy.
Deep dark colors like, burgundy, mauve, emerald and dark navy also works perfectly with Autumun's natural color palette.
Dark moody theme works together nicely with romantic, boho and vintage themes.
I collected some gorgeous photos from styled shoots and real events for you to get inspired.
As I mentioned earlier, even if you want a dark theme it doesn't have to be gloomy. For a modern and dark theme, keep it minimal, use sharp and modern ceramic tableware.
Use lots of candles and tulles, they will together create a mystical and romantical mood.
If you don't want to wear a black or dark colored dress, prefer a dark colored bouquet, especially a mix of dried and live flowers can be perfect. You can also consider a dip dyed dress, you will see an example of that on the second photo it looks gorgeous!
As for bridesmaids dresses choose velvet as fabric, they will look stunning in velvet. Especially deep emerald green or burgundy colors look divine with velvet.
You can also use a thin velvet ribbon for your bouquet or as your belt.
Use feathers, old books and chandeliers as decorative details.
