Best Flower Options for Winter Bridal Bouquets

You are planning a winter wedding and searching for your floral options. Maybe thinking because of the chill weather there won't be a lot of blossoms to choose. Of course with the improvements in agriculture it is still possible to find most blossoms thanks to greenhouses but that is neither an environmental friendly option nor budget. I know you are busy with planning the wedding so I've made the research for you!
I must mention there is no affiliate links. These examples of beautiful flowers are all end results of my own research and professional view.

All white winter wedding bouquet

Winter's natural color palette contains lots of deep and rich dark colors especially reds and burgundy. Although you don't have to choose dark colors in your bouquet, there are still beautiful flowers available in light tones like tulips, anemons, gardenias and ranunculus.

Winter Florals and Foliage Options

  • Some flowers are available all year around.
It is best to keep in mind that some flowers are available all year around and their prices are more less the same during the year. Most popular one of these flowers are roses.
  • Even you have a large budget some flowers can't be found on winter.
If your favorite flowers are peonies and you want them for your bridal bouquet, you may want to reconsider the season or you can go for peony like flowers like ranunculus which are available during winter.
  • If your wedding will be near Christmas or your theme is Christmas you are in luck!
Most of the winter special florals and foliage are already widely used in Christmas decoration so take advantage of that and choose poinsettias, berries, pine cones, cedar branches etc.. for a Christmas feel.
  • Be bold with the colors.
You are already making a bold choice, most people can think winter weddings as a bold choice so why not also choose deep rich toned divine blossoms for your winter wedding. Your photos will be showstopper in contrast with the white snowy background.
  • Consider your centerpieces too while choosing your bouquet's theme.
I highly recommed using available in season tree branches for your bouquet so you can use them as decoration for your table and other places. It will be budget friendly and they smell heavenly so all the guests will feel good.
